Skins
We live in a culture where we are often exposed to idealized, edited images of bodies. Through commercials and social media, we follow smoothed out surfaces of each others lives.
In this series I am exploring our surfaces, textures and skins, in a merging with surfaces, textures and skins from other parts of nature. Leaves, mold, branches, forests and bodies are filmed, mostly with a macro-lense, and merged in order to explore the beauty of our bodies in a different way. The fragility, the sensuousness, the imperfection.
